They Came, They Saw, They Conquered (The Food!)

While Dylan and his group were busy doing the Ceremony Setup at the Mango Avenue,
(http://joyagustin.blogspot.com/2008/05/april-05-2008-blogs-from-suppliers.html) Carla and his Manila Catering Services Group were also busy doing the Reception Setup. For weeks, I am monitoring the weather at the Antipolo Area (courtesy of Dylan), and for four consecutive days, the rain has consistently showered the area.
Come morning of April 5, while we are having our breakfast at the hotel, Dylan again informed me that there is heavy rain in the area so they stopped doing the setup. Well, the Lord is indeed good, He gave what we have asked for because later in the morning, the rain stopped and the sun showed up.

Indeed, it was a Celebration of God's Grace, Goodness and Glory.

Good Morning Mr. Sunshine :)

What's for Today?

For the B&G. One comment, though, was that people say that the B&G gazebo was a little far from the guests.

On Manila Catering
During the time when we were planning for our wedding, we received an advise:

"People will forget how beautiful the bride is, or how gorgeous the groom, or how beautiful the ceremony. But they will long, long, remember the food".

Well, seems to us that we need to heed this advise, so we really made sure that the guests would be satisfied with the food. Credits to Carla for accomodating our requests and making sure we've got the best deals. Simple tips and suggestions were also a big help.

The hard part during the planning stage was knowing the estimated number of guests that will come. Actually, the number of guests will widely affect your budget. Well, we really, really enjoyed (really!!) this part of knowing who's in (and who's out) on our Guest List. The Guest List proved to be very reliable. Boy! Our Guests didn't fail us! Except for some of course, who didn't make it for justifiable reasons.

They Came, They Saw, and yes! Our Guests Conquered the Food!
